With no memory and an empty room, Mr. Mayfly was a lonely newborn. Within a day he learns what it is to be more than flesh and blood. But what does that entail, he wonders. He wishes for answers on his odd and sudden existence. Will he find said answers? Or maybe something far more important? A short story inspired by Stephen Moffat.
