Madison Thea is deaf. She goes to a regular school, is friends with regular people, has a regular family, everything in her life is regular; except for the fact that she cannot hear a thing.
But she wants a change, Madison is sick and tired of her friends doing stuff without her because she can't hear and would be a bore, she is sick of the fact that her mom is always trying to get her to talk even though she clearly doesn't want to, and she's sick of having people walk away from her as they find out she's deaf.
Because who want's to be friends with a deaf girl?
Well that all changes when Madison decides to go to the local coffee shop one morning, and bumps into Greg Stephens. A boy who is determined to show Madison that just because she can't hear, doesn't mean she can't experience the things people who can hear do.
Because who knew that her life was going to change after the morning coffee?
