The newly widowed Prince of Wales interviews young Lady Diana Spencer for the nanny position to take care of his young sons. Since losing their mother, Princes William and Harry, ages four and two, have become a handful, causing the Prince to go through multiple nannies in a short period. Coming highly recommended, the Prince of Wales hires Lady Diana takes care of his two sons. 

Since his wife's death, he hasn't thought about another woman. But now, with the beautiful young nanny around, he develops feelings for her. With the urging of his brothers, the Prince takes the first step in acting on those feelings. Starting with a kiss at his Aunt's fiftieth birthday, sparks fly, and desire burns. The Prince finds himself in love with his shy employee, who he learns has had a crush on him for years.  Knowing this information gives him the confidence to explore love again. A lesson he learns is love comes when you least expect it.

I choose every aspect of this story because that's what I liked at the time. The similarities are scary and pure coincidence. It freaked me out at the time too (I wrote it first, they decided to live it later- or I was just good at guessing what would happen if H got married).
