Y/n L/n, a recently unemployed resident who is currently living under her mother's roof, dreams to be a manga artist but her mother sees it as a failure and a waste of time. She is constantly being controlled by her mother who wanted her to be a doctor or a nurse. Her mother once forced her to go to med school, it didn't take for Y/n to drop out before the end of the first semester. Now an unemployed resident, she needs to find another job, for Y/n wants to try publishing a manga but gets discouraged since she had no idea how the manga will be able to start. But when both she and her mother got invited to a picnic near a lake, she tried to save a child from drowning but unfortunately, lost her energy when she tried to save herself.

She woke up in a strange place and found herself in a body of a girl named, Saori who was a wife of a powerful samurai but sadly, gets treated poorly by her husband. Y/n not liking the mistreatment she receives as Saori, she left the palace only to meet a man named, Yoriichi Tsugikuni. She went with him because she doesn't know how to live in a world so different, she would never expect to fall for the man, Yoriichi.
