After Kevin discovers Streber and gets him to hospital he awaits for him to wake up and begin to recover. As he does he, explains to Kevin what happened. As Kevin hears the tale of Skid and Pump appearing right before Streber's attacker, he knows the next time he sees the kids he is going to snap. Streber knows that Kevin has to return to Candy Club to do his job, but he begs him not to go in order to ensure Kevin remains sane.
