This story is about The Journey we must all make from adolescence to adulthood. It is also a journey from knowing what your abilities are to using them for good. It is told in allegory form using characters from my previous stories based on the works of Felix Salten.  Leaders are partly born, but they are also made by the experiences they face in life. Stafen is a young male deer in late adolescence that strives to know his place in his herd and in life in general. He is shaped by his experiences: some are good, some are bad, and some are potentially lethal.  How he makes this journey is a story all of us can follow.All Rights Reserved

When they are forced to return to The Pridelands to face Mufasa's evil brother Scar, will Shani fight her fears to help Simba take his place as king and find out who she truly is within herself?
