Dana and Cameron came from two totally different universes. Dana was the type of girl who sat in the corner of the classroom and didn't talk much. She was an outcast. After her mother's death when she was a little girl, she wasn't the same happy girl who watched Hannah Montana every morning. Cameron was famous. He was weird, funny, sweet, romantic, smart, and caring. He was perfect in everyone's eyes, but he wasn't exactly. Dana's life goes nowhere; in fact it goes to "hell." One day she is unexpectedly invited to go out to L.A for the summer to spend time with her twin brother Shawn Mendes. She couldn't believe how different everyone was there. It was like she discovered a new universe just south from her home in Canada. Everyone acted like mature, yet crazy fun and cool, teenagers. 99% of the time anyways. Dana mentally transforms into a new person as the new people she meets changes her view on life. And most important this new transition involved a boy, Cameron, nobody saw it coming. The problem was, Dana was done with guys after her brake up with, who she thought was, the love of her life. "Guys are dicks." Along with another admirer, an enemy from her past, and being tricked, Dana still has the most amazing time of her life with all the people she loves. All good things must come to an end. Alison doesn't like hockey. It isn't so much the sport itself that she doesn't like, but rather the people who play it. Growing up the daughter of a local hockey legend with a superstar brother who follows in their father's footsteps, hockey players are all she has ever been around. After a bad break-up with her brother's ex-teammate, she swore off all hockey players for life. She is sick of hockey, sick of the players, and sick of Maukingnen Falls, but she can't seem to get away from any of it. Using her dad's connections in her career doesn't exactly help the situation, but she's determined to make a name for herself outside of the hockey world. If that means name dropping her famous family to get a few meetings so she can finally move out of her hometown and leave her reputation behind her, then she'll buckle up and deal with it. That is until she takes too much of an advantage dropping her last name and somehow ends up in the showers of her hometown's hockey team. Who catches her there? None other than the team's captain. Dylan Cavanaugh doesn't like his private life on display, but being the biggest player in hockey at his young age makes it hard to keep his private life private. Things blow up when his breakup with his Hollywood actress ex-girlfriend quite literally take over the town and he can't seem to escape the attention of every reporter and single woman he sees. When he finds out the real reason the woman he caught in the showers hates hockey, he makes a proposition that could benefit both of them. Now he's in a fake relationship to avoid having to continuously deny a real one because the girl he chose would never date another hockey player. The plan is flawless: fake a relationship to break away from her family name and save him from unwanted attention. This plan could get her out of Maukingnen Falls. It could get her family to respect her again. And it could get her toxic ex-boyfriend to finally leave her alone. What could possibly go wrong?

*book two of the Counting On Hockey series. Read Just Another Goal prior to this book* Meredith and Cole are going into their Senior year of high school. They are inseparable together. Now both playing hockey, and being together for now more than a year, they thought nothing could hurt them. Meredith's Dad is Randy Adams, hockey legend from the late 90's on the Detroit Red Wings. He moves constantly for his new job, which now has nothing to do with hockey. When moving from Michigan to Maine, it was a good thing. Meredith got away from drama back home and she found her high school sweetheart, and quite possibly the love of her life. When Meredith moved to Maine, Cole found his soulmate and best friend. Meredith's fathers job is sending him to Chicago, which mean she has to move. Again. She has to leave her new life as best friends with the entire boys hockey team. But most importantly, she has to leave Cole. ********* One More Day follow Meredith's POV through her time on the first day at her new school to the next time she has a chance to see Cole again. Drama may cause some second thought on their relationship. But they love each other, so let's see how they turn out. *Each chapter name will have the number of days until Meredith and Cole can see each other again. She has exactly 93 days from her first day of school to when she gets to see Cole.* *mild sexual innuendo and content, and swearing* *Not all hockey players or their jobs in this book are real. Some NHL players might be real, but the jobs they have are made up*

I had been second best all my life. But this time, when it comes to her, I'm not willing to accept defeat. I'll do whatever it takes to get her to choose me. *** Having a best friend that was wildly popular, and one of the best hockey players in the United American Hockey League, was both a curse and a blessing. On the plus side, I got to play hockey with my best friend, and there was never a shortage of beautiful girls. At least there wasn't until Nash decided to man up and tell his childhood friend that he'd always loved her. The bad part was that I usually ended up being second best. In my late teens and early twenties I hadn't cared that I wasn't picked in the first round of the draft, or that sponsors chose Nash ahead of me, or even if I ended up with a girl who didn't really want me for me. I made a nice living playing hockey. I had a few good friends and a nice place to live in the middle of Manhattan. Despite not being the best, I'd made most of my dreams come true and it was a far stretch from the lonely kid I'd been growing up in the rural Midwest. I was happy. I was content. Until her.... It's not like I didn't want what Nash had. I did. I do. Who doesn't want a happily ever after? It's just that I've never taken the risk and allowed a woman to see past my defenses before, to see the real me, with my baggage and all my insecurities... until now. As scary as that is in itself, what makes it complicated is that my new roommate, Jackson - who I offered my spare bedroom to a while back when he needed a place to stay - and Bryce - one of my friends and teammates- also seem to have an interest in her... the woman who has me questioning all my decisions. The thing is... I'm pretty sure I'm not willing to be a second choice this time around...

"What the hell did you do!?" I heard a feminine voice behind me. I groaned and turned around to meet a very angry face. I have never seen a girl this pissed before and honestly speaking, I am a little bit afraid. "She knew what she was getting into. Everyone knows I am player and I never stick to one girl." I shrugged and turned around to walk away. I didn't even take one step when I felt a firm hand on my t-shirt. She took a fist full of my shirt and turned me around so I was facing her. She then held my collar. Damn, she is almost the same height as me and if I would have been any normal guy, I would be terrified of her. "You don't treat girls like trash, asshole. She has feelings, she is not some toy that you got bored from after playing for a while. Apologize to her." She said through gritted teeth pointing towards Leah who was crying her eyes out. I noticed the crowd that started forming around us. I shrugged her hand away from my t-shirt and glared at her. "I will not apologize to anyone." I said slowly through gritted teeth. She is starting to piss me off. No one clashes me and no one stands against me. Even though I am new here, everyone knows that. I saw her eyes go blank and before I could duck, her fist made contact with my face and I felt sharp pain coursing through my nose. I held my nose tight and felt warm liquid flowing to my lips. Olivia Claire is a 16 year old high scholar. She is a fighter who never took anyone's shit and is famous for it. She mostly minds her own business occasionally helping people that might need her. Carter Grayson is a 16 year old guy recently transferred to Olivia's high school. Tall, handsome guy with lean figure, hazel eyes, brown hair and smile to die for. He has been known to be a player in his last high school and he plans on continuing that identity. So, what happens when a typical bad boy clashes with a not-so-nerd bad girl.
