" Kristy" I heard Jacob holler my name. As always. I was always hiding out. I wasn't allowed to be seen. I was sick of this life. I ignored him. Like he cared. Dad probably had him check on me. I couldn't be trusted apparently.
" Kris!" his voice seemed to be getting closer. More than anything I wanted to be a normal girl... I wanted to go to school. A normal school. " Kriss?" Jacob stood in the doorway looking annoyed.

"Safer? Absolutely not. " It is not " I muttered under my breath. And it wasn't. as it so hard to explain who I was? That I had been around every summer since I started middle school?
Jacob sighed coming to sit next to me " Krissy, I'm sorry" he gave me a hug.
