Superpowers are great! ...Until a destructive cult finds out. Eight teens have been discovered by The Assembly, an order obsessed with individuals with special abilities. After being forced to leave their whole lives behind, constantly fleeing and fighting so they won't be used for its god's purposes, these friends find refuge in a community also wary of the cult. But The Assembly can be very persuasive, and it seems the only way to be free is to face those who oppress you.
