What if Teyvat wasn't a land full of monsters and mutations(with a possibly fake sky), and instead was a more tame land of fungi and fairies?

Aether is an orphan, living with his twin sister and a fairy. When he and Lumine, his twin sister, were 8, their parents were captured and killed by bandits. Ever since that event, Paimon has taken care of them; washing their clothes, cooking all the food, and waking them up for school.
Aether and Lumine have never fit in with the other kids at school. They were different; different in a way that made them seem strange. They never talked to anyone, refused to answer the counselor's questions, and because of this, the other kids picked on them.
Finally having enough of Aether and Lumine being picked on all day, and coming home crying, Paimon decides to send them to Michita Academy, a school promising to treat all children equally, no matter their background. A school that seems to have children like Aether and Lumine themselves. It seems perfect at first.
But everything perfect always has it's fatal flaws.
Will Aether and Lumine finally have a chance to experience a normal life? Or will Paimon's desperate shot end in nothing but strife?
