In a land far off the coast of the major continents is an area known as the Dasmono Sea. The sea is populated with many small islands that inhabit all sorts of life and cultures. The land was once scarred by years and years of bloodshed but 500 years later and much of that is history. Until now. A boy known as Rinden has been getting strange dreams of battle that make his stomach churn and heartbeat. What could this mean? What shadow stirs amongst the ocean? Read and find out.

Unfortunately for them, they seemed to have incurred the wrath of actual gods, nightmares, and monsters. And so, they have been forced to flee their 'heaven' for greener pastures, but before then, they'll have to pass through hell. Monster Beneath The Surface (Solangelo AU)
Everyone in town knows about the sea monster. Every night, he goes into town to find his prey. He lures them in with his voice, only to bring them back to the ocean, to eat them. Few survive this, and the people who do, they lose their mind, like they were cursed. You can only gather from them that he was beautiful, his voice was like an angel's, and that when he took you into the ocean, he became a monster. He only hunted young men, women, teens, and the occasional twelve-year old. It was terrifying, because the people had no way to stop him. Every night, someone would go missing, or come back insane. They knew he lived in the ocean, and when people tried to bomb the area where they thought the monster lived, they would either be cursed, or just eaten by the sea monster himself. And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. I saw another person do this and they used the same cover art, and I hope you guys like my version! I, personally very much like it and hope you guys do to! Notes: Takes place on a post flooded earth, land is scarce and often swallowed by the rising tides daily, humans have taken to the water and over thousands of years evovled into mermaids, much of the knowledge of human civilization is lost but not fully forgotten. There is a semblence of society but due to the strained environments much of culture was regressed into a more mordern tribal structure societies scattered in little to big settlements with their own unique territory.. Many tools and necessities have evolved with them but things like phones tvs and other things were lost in the great rising.
