So, I've been doing hours of MINDLESS research on the game, and I thought it took place in the past but, after reading TONS of Reddit posts and head cannons and them figuring it out, I guess it takes place 1000s of years into the future, which I would've never guessed that by the art style and theme of the way everyone is dressed and building styles which is why I initially thought it took place in the past, but as I get further into the game it makes so much more sense with the technology advancements.
So if it mentions ANYTHING about it seeming like it's in the past ignore that because I don't have the patience to go through and change the ENTIRE story 😭😭😭
Starting with chapter 19 is where everything will change as a more futuristic setting 😭😭
