Dakota B. Sullivan (Ellen Page) is a Math geek and a huge nerd, being unpopular and without good looks, she is obviously bullied. On the other hand, Cedric S. Dwayneson (Ed Westwick), the captain of the school's Basketball Team and his father being the principal of the school "Dwayneson's School for the Gifted", is the most popular guy in school, with his charming looks and all. Cedric, who got into the school due to his father, has zero foundation in a lot of subjects whereas Dakota, who got into the school due to her brains, is one of the best students in the school, due to a situation, Cedric has to ask Dakota for help, and that's when everything changes for both of them.
