Morella is an Addams, a distant relative on her mothers side, not an unusual situation. However being adopted into the main family makes her a bit more mysterious. Her arrival at nevermore is marked by many things including death and stares. Her time at the new school is filled with new things, things she's never experienced and things that make her skin crawl and her blood boil. A lot of treacherous paths lay before her however, just how will she handle them...
"Potatoes aren't poisonous," My brows furrowed again, "yes they are, Eggplant and potatoes are nightshades, so are tomatoes," I popped the fry in my mouth as he looked at me, sort of frozen, "what... I'm sorry, hold on a minute, you eat them because they're poisonous?"

This has made her emotionally unavailable, antisocial and closed in her own world. She is convinced that she is incapable of feeling emotions, and yet she is the only one who notices Tyler's suffering. Tyler Galpin is a 17-year-old poor boy who lost his mother at the age of 3. Her death is a dark secret that his father hides. Sheriff Galpin never accepted what had happened and since the death of his wife he has become a cold, absent man, working all day. He neglected his son, who grew up fighting for his father's attention and love, but always felt like an unwanted burden. Tyler is deeply hurt, too sensitive for this world. After school, he works part-time as a barista, but one day he finds a weekend job at the Addams mansion as a gardener. It intrigued the girl, but she had more pressing issues to handle. How does Y/N react to his own mystery coming to mind? How does his relationships with certain people change and expand?
