Her father married Olivia Tyrell of the Reach after losing his first wife Elena Caron. Her mother, Olivia, died of natural causes a few years after Saera was born. Saera Baratheon, nicknamed the Sun of the Stormlands, beautiful long black hair and a beautiful porcelain skin. She was different from her older sisters, who always hated her. Saera was not like her other sisters, yes she wanted a good life, a loving husband and lovely children but with the right man. Unfortunately she was no princess to choose herself. All she wanted was to marry a lord of her choice and start a family. She liked to read and be alone instead of chatting with her sisters. Her sisters were jealous of her, because of her beauty and the fact that the people of Storms'end loved her. They called her the sun of Storms'end. When she was eight years old, she was sent to King's Landing to be Princess Heleana's friend. The queen wanted her herself when she visited the land of storms. Finding the young child very cheerful.
