All Richie wanted was to have one day where he could play Streetfighter with Stan in peace. Obviously, given the large red painted letters taunting he on the side of the building next to the arcade, he didn't even deserve that.
Richie is bullied yet again. The last thing he wants is for Eddie to find out.
