Fearless. Yeah right. If she was fearless, Simulation wouldn't be a problem. Imagine how easy it would be. Going to face each of your fears, and not having any. For Kaitlyn Shrewn, a fifteen year old girl from the farmlands of Briar, it's a joke to think of not having any fears. Only fools wouldn't admit to being afraid. She would go to the Faction, take the Tests, and then be pushed into a horrible simulation where her worst fears are brought to life, along with nine other children. But when the new Faction leader changes the rules, things change from something everyone does to a struggle to survive another minute. The new leader, turns a tradition of adulthood into a killing game that Kaitlyn finds herself part of. Along with her best friends and worst enemies, she must find a way to become fearless, all while running from the bloodthirsty nightmares of her own creation. How long can a group of teenagers last in a maze of their own nightmares? No one is completely fearless.

"Sometimes I wish I could ask him how it feels to break a broken person."**Cassidy Carlone was a perfectly normal teenager, in fact, the term perfect seemed to define her life in general. With a solid friend group, loving family with a stable income, and a brilliant mind: she had everything a teenage girl could ask for. But that all seemed to change when a certain hickory-eyed boy decided to torment and kidnap Cassidy, choosing to abandon her on a roadside a month with a memory of everything but his identity. A new town was supposed to make things better, but the horrors of her past weren't through with her as the series of cynical notes and deaths of her loved ones followed her to St Briston. Can she make it out alive? Possibly. But the real question is whether she'll have anyone to go back to after it all, or will her kidnapper prevail yet again?
