Elizabeth Patterson has always been trouble. So it's no surprise when she ends up sent off to Connecticut to live with a side of her family she's only met once. For as long as she can remember she dreaded spending the summer with bratty, spoiled cousins and a well off Grandma who houses sixty percent of her Mom's family. Now she has to spend her whole senior year with them? But when she gets to town things aren't as bad as she thought---she makes friends and meets two boys. One of which is a current resident of her Gram's house. The other is from her math class and seems to understand more than anyone being the odd one out. Her cousins ice her out but slowly begin to accept her for the crazy girl she is. Read about Elizabeth and her search for a home in a place she never thought she could fit in. The Next Generation is a story about finding yourself, love, loss, and building a whole new life in a whole new town.
