Monokuma creates a beta killing game with new participants. The beta game is a practice for the real killing game where they switch the roles of each individual.

Kokichi, a cunning narcissist had been chosen as the protagonist of the beta ver. He brings everyone together and lead them almost like a mature leader.

Although the only unleader like thing about him is that, he is not only sadistic but doesn't actually try to save anyone other than himself as he tries to constantly tries to mess up the class trial almost bringing everyone, including himself to death.

But, that only changes after he made friends with a certain actor. A quiet and indifferent boy, shuichi saihara.
