When Mariana and her Aunt Jade move from Connecticut to a new town in Florida, she thinks the only worries she'll have is to deal with is making new friends - until she encounters a strange shadow like figure, while wandering the hallways of her new school - she's trying to make sense of what happened with the mysterious figure, trying to avoid drama at all costs(but it seems as if it just follows her wherever she goes), and to learn how to use her powers properly - Mariana also happens to be hiding a big secret from her new classmates, she is a Witch and Kanay(control over elements) hybrid, no such thing has happened in the magic realm, for she fears her life to be in danger if the Witches Council ever found out - Why? You may ask, well Kanays and Witches have had their fair share of history together and I'm not talking about a happy-go-lucky party, I am talking about a hatred that brewed on for as long as anyone can remember - the problem is that there very few known Kanays left, their relatives have been vanquished and now they must unite with their Witch, Wizard, and Human friends to fight off a new enemy and possibly find other Kanays.
