Marley Jane was the nicest girl in Ashmore.
Then she went missing.
After that there was the five year long investigation.
On June 16th, she was found.

Except death had already paid her a visit. She never again got to walk through the door of her house to smell fresh baked cookies just out of the oven, or to sleep in the plush bed her parents never stopped making.

Marley wasn't the first girl to go missing, but she was the first to die.
Now there's a new cop on the case diving deeper and deeper. Finally someone to connect the dots, or at least someone who can see the dots. But so far the only thing she's learned is that the victims are connected by rustling leaves and trees that that shake hands with the sky. They each made the trek through the woods every day around dusk, after work or school, or anything else they had been doing. It brings to question....could there be something in the woods? Someone?

Told from the perspective of the cop on the case, the the girls who were taken, and one smart teenager who just wants her sister back, I give you; At The Brink.
