Running Out of Time is a story of two teenagers with completely different personalities who come to understand what time truly means and what it takes from us before we even notice it is gone. It is about the fleeting moments we often take for granted, until illness begins to strip everything away.
Sebastian Hector Valdez, a seventeen-year-old student who laughs through everything. He is loud, carefree, and always running forward as if humor can outrun fear. But when his body begins to betray him, he realizes that time isn't something you can joke your way out of.
On the other side, Natasha Rei Evangelista, a sixteen-year-old independent yet soft-hearted young woman has long been fighting a different kind of battle. After an accident leaves her world shattered, she learns to move forward in silence and starts pushing her own wheels while carrying memories that refuse to let her rest.
Two teenagers. Two lives moving at different speeds. Yet in a world that never slows down, they are forced to face the same truth: time is never guaranteed.
As their paths coincidently intertwine, they discover that some moments are more fragile than they seem and that running away from pain only makes the clock tick faster.
But what happens when truths from the past begin to surface?
As secrets are unveiled, their connection begins to change. Sanity hangs by a thread, promises slowly corrode, and the question remains: Will they find a way to make things right or will they allow their bond to fall apart under the weight of the truth?
