Decades in the future. Covid-19 ended, but Mad Deer Disease followed, a sickness that made your skin slosh off and your mind go crazy. It wiped out over half the world's population, sending many nations into a state of chaos. And that's when the British swooped in. Sure, they helped during the few years recovering from Mad Deer Disease, but when their 'help' turned into occupation, everyone knew bad would only get worse.
May is a young woman, living in her family home in the countryside and trying to get through. Frankie, on the other hand, lives in the big city, trying to do the same. Curfews, constant supervision, and dictation seem to control their life, and when the enemy is forced into their lives, they find themselves fighting for it. Though, they'll quickly learn, just because they seem the enemy, doesn't mean they are.
