The Chef And The Hairstylist

Kai Williams, 24 year old restaurant owner, has been on her own since she can remember. Her father, who was in the army, came back and decided to waste his life after not being able to find a job. He mainly took his anger out on her and her mother. Through her trials and tribulations, she has risen from the ashes and made a good life for herself. And with the help of the Johnson family, SHE has a real family.

Lani Harris, a 23 year old hairstylist, has had her two best friends since the playground days. Unfortunately, once she moved, that was the only family she had. An old soul like herself isn't into sleeping around like a lot of her generation these days. Coming from a verbal abusive family, she decides to not let their words destroy her, and to do everything they doubted her about.

Sooo this is technically my first story, lmk how y'all like it. For me, this story is an imagination/escape of reality and the main character my imagination so use yours! I don't think I'll do a cast, so y'all can imagine who n what you want so yea. Hope ya like it❤
