Like most passengers, young survivor Grace believes that she's doomed to live aboard Snowpiercer for life. In fact, she's already been here since she was barely 9 years old, receiving an education in one of the classroom cars while also learning how she will eventually take her place amongst the train's faculty and work to keep their society running. It's a mundane life, where days pass by as quickly as the once significant landmarks outside the window, and as far as she's concerned, it's only destined to get more monotonous and boring as time marches on.

But towards the end of their 18th revolution around the world, things began to drastically change, for better and for worse.

Perhaps now there was a slight hope that her future was headed somewhere else.
