This fan fiction will go into detail about Shadow's complicated past, and will start with his creation on the ARK. Shadow is battling memories, mind-control, and struggling to find his true identity. Sonic is a far from home, but didn't really seem like he wanted to go home...but when two hedgehog siblings found the poor hedgehog, scrapped, and bruised so they took him in to help him at least regain his memory, and who he truly is.

As many Sonic fans are aware, Sonic Forces didn't live up to our expectations. Barebones, linear gameplay, overly forced "nostalgia", and a story that felt extremely half-baked. That's why I've decided to completely rewrite and revamp the story of Sonic Forces in the alternate take of the game. I've gone through the game's script and made some very heavy changes to improve upon the story. (gameplay is a whole other thing, I'll leave that to modders).
