Aurora is a pretty unimportant girl. At least by her own standards. She's considered weird and unnatural at her school by almost everyone because of her dual colored eyes, which she started covering with an eye patch. So when her crush, who's anything but normal, jumps off a roof to save her life, she starts to think maybe she's more important than she initially told herself.
Austin is anything but normal. Not only is he a lone goth in a school full of preppy rich kids, but he also has no parents and lives alone. Not to mention that he's the incarnation of the Dark Angel himself.
His life was never normal by any standard and he never expected it to suddenly change and become that way. But he never expected to become what he most feared. What he couldn't control.
A monster.
Suddenly thrown into each other's arms, Austin and Aurora must overcome challenges they never could have predicted. Aurora's life is potentially in grave danger, and that puts her in the hands of Austin, making her rely on him for protection.
Will they be able to face their problems and get a semi-normal life back or will they have a not-so-happy ending?
