So when her crush, who's anything but normal, jumps off a roof to save her life, she starts to think maybe she's more important than she initially told herself.

        Austin is anything but normal. Not only is he a lone goth in a school full of preppy rich kids, but he also has no parents and lives alone. Not to mention that he's the incarnation of the Dark Angel himself.
        His life was never normal by any standard and he never expected it to suddenly change and become that way. But he never expected to become what he most feared. What he couldn't control.
