After Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, along other rebels, ended a rebellion against the Hunger Games, stayed their daughter and their son. She was named Rose, in honor of Katniss's younger sister, Primrose, who unfortunately passed away. He was named Kyle, in honor of Gale who was Katniss's friend, and Finnick, who fought in the rebellion, but never made it. After 16 years of hiding the rebellion, Katniss and Peeta realize its time for them to tell their children, how their hope, overthrew a powerful, government. It wouldn't be easy though, Rose has a hard time processing what happened to her ancestors and what her world really was. Kyle still thought a rebellion couldn't have happened. That his world seemed too peaceful for anything like a rebellion to have occurred. She was so much like Katniss, hard to convince, hard to understand. And he was like Peeta, too gentle, too peaceful for a fight. But they hadn't had enough rebellions, hadn't they seen too much fear, hope?

The rules were simple. Kill or be killed. So why didn't the Game-makers kill Lucinda Colden, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark when they pulled out their poison berries? Why did they stop, and let all three Tributes win? Hope. An underestimated word. But the only thing stronger than fear. When the district twelve victors return home from the Capitol, things start to change, and somehow, Lucinda seems to be in the middle of it all. Torn between her role in the Rebellion and President Snows weapon, Lucinda must decide where her loyalties lie. But no matter what the decision, with Snow placing a Soldier to watch her every move, Lucinda will do almost anything to save the few people that she loves, even if that means making one fatal, life changing decision. ||Book Two in the Forever in the Games Series||
