Demetrius Lydos is a master thief who is inducted into a secret organization called The Institution. This organization's primary function is to stop worldwide wars from ever starting. He is trained to be a part of an elite team that consists of four others who have master skills in combat, escapology, disguise, computer skills, and more. When strange events start happening around the world, the team is plunged into multiple missions, which lead them into a sinister plot that could mean the end of society as we know it!

Carmen Sandiego the legendary and mysterious thief continues her life almost two years after season 4 and after her constant search regarding finding her parents, despite what some of us thought Carmen never stopped fighting crime but one day she fought a crime she thought she left behind long ago. V.I.L.E- When all the academy teachers were caught and thrown in jail, everyone thought that was the end of V.I.L.E Academy for good. In this book you will think something else. With each generation that comes the five highest places in V.I.L.E Academy change. Over time, Carmen noticed that the crime rate was increasing, and with the increase in the crime rate, so was her level of anxiety that monsters from the past had changed form and came back to haunt her once more. When the past comes to haunt Carmen again she has two choices to run away or see how far the story will deteriorate. (English isn't my first language, so there may be some grammar mistakes)

Written in 2014 the storyline involves an almost crystal ball view of Putin's growing aggression towards Ukraine. Mikhailya Groschev was born in the year 1952 in the Soviet Union controlled Ukraine. Her father is an Astrophysicist and a Cosmonaut, her Mother a successful doctor. Their family along with four other families is selected to participate in colonizing Mars at the time when America thinks it is winning the Space Race. A new Element is discovered on Mars that turns the mission and Mikhailya's life upside down. The mission fails as the Mars colony is rapidly falling apart, an immediate evacuation is ordered and lives turn upside down. Mikhailya's parents are cold-bloodily murdered and chaos ensues. Once the crew makes their return journey to Earth the next adventure begins. New characters are introduced and a chase across Europe from the Ukraine to Paris gets underway, the out of place Soviet teens must develop new allies while being weary of potential enemies. Due to the stabilizing properties of the limited amount of the new element they bring back to Earth, it becomes a highly sought after prize. There is espionage (NSA, KGB), kidnapping and a little romance too. Determined to keep what remains of her family whole, Mikhailya finds herself tackling adversity and overcoming odds that seem nearly insurmountable, just when she thinks they are getting ahead they fall back and need to regroup. The team gets separated and each group has their own hurdles to face as they adjust to the news of the USSR crumbling and nowhere to turn. Brother is pitted against brother, father against son and Mikhailya's family is caught in the middle. Mikhailya's life is forever changed on her final mission to reunite her family.Lengkap

Ability users are very rare in this world, however, people fear what they don't understand, so they treat people with such abilities as animals, a separate species that have lower rights. Boris acts as the hero on the ability side of the world and the villain on the humans side, yet, he follows both sides as he believes that everyone has the right to live. Boris' overall goal is to steal from the rich and give it back to the poor/ability users in similar positions as he was before being adopted into a wealthy family, all while trying to keep everyone safe from his past mistakes.
