Everyone knows the Mario brothers share a bond like no other. So, when Mario and Luigi Mario share a nightmare of an unknown kingdom being destroyed by familiar-looking ghosts, Luigi's nemesis begins to stalk Mario in the shadows and the nights begin to last longer, the twins become suspicious.
Along with this, a new girl, who seems to have memory-loss syndrome, comes to the Mushroom kingdom. She feels so close to the famous brothers and vice-versa, only, they don't even know them.
