This fic is set pre-TFA. Snoke is still down Kylo Ren's throat about training, leading, and submitting to the dark side, even after years of unwavering commitment. Truthfully, Kylo is distracted for about a dozen reasons. His parents lingering influence preventing him from fully surrendering to the dark side, taking over the galaxy for the First Order, trying to wrangle the Knights of Ren, oversee the building of Star Killer Base, and his years of isolation- just to name a few. He has many plans in place to eradicate his distractions, but plans take time. The only distraction he can elevate now is the physical one.

When he catches a Finalizer command bridge navigation officer staring at him, his mind is made up. Draft a contract with this woman to relieve his physical urges. No feelings, minimal conversation... just sex. Then he can go about his work with a clear head. The nav officer, Quinn, is hesitant at first, but the more time she spends with the mysterious commander of the First Order, the more she is captivated by him.
