After being falsely accused of being the mastermind behind the Elf Incident, Asta was exiled from Clover Kingdom with a newfound resentment towards the nation. Shortly after, the former Magic Knight is attack by a horde of vicious monsters in the dead of night. He fought hard against the beasts, but was only able to cull their numbers by half before exhaustion overcame him. As the remaining creatures were about to lunge at Asta, they were quickly slain by a man in silver armor and wielding two swords. The man introduced himself as a Makai Knight and asked the exiled Magic Knight why was he out in the middle of the nowhere. Asta told him his story and the Makai Knight explained what the monsters were and the organization he is a part of. The Silver Knight then asked him if he would like to join the Makai Order, and Asta accepts. What will the future have in store for the new Makai Knight?
