Adelia's life had been turned upside down when a horrendous war tore apart her country. Being forced to become the somewhat equivalent of a 'Hero', the God's decide that the only way they can win the holy War, was to destroy everything but her. Being turned into a Stone-Guardian for the underwater ruins of the, once so bright shining, Capitol of Ayail wasn't a big Problem, since the God's decided to show mercy and turned the Stay of her Soul in the Realm of Darkness into one that wasn't filled with mundane things like feelings or memories. But as the Wheels of Time turn and the Outside world evolves, becoming more curious about the History of their land, as Fate wants it, the Justice League finds it's way to the Ruins and gets involved in something that may be to much for them alone. - I couldn't look away. He was right there, perfect and real. So close. "I think I'm falling in love with you." [...] He pulled me closer and held me in such a manner, I was certain I'd melt into a puddle right there and then. "Not just you, habibti."

"Hazel." "What?" "My name." I swallowed hesitantly, afraid to shatter the silence between us anymore than I already had, "It's Hazel." The silence of the night made it seem as if someone breathing too loud could make the silence shatter into a million pieces. My voice was no exception, and I was terrified that if I spoke to loud, even one word, the it would shatter, along with everything in the room. The silence seemed to make my voice feel smaller than it was, so when I finally heard his footsteps again, it shocked me to hear how loud and distinctive each one was, as if the silence broke just for him. As if he ruled the silence. It's as if he didn't even view the silence as fragile, but a force that he had to over come. And he didn't want to back down from the fight. <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Summary: Hazel has always tried to do the right thing and be the best person she can be, but that can get confusing when you end up being hunted by someone you don't even know. Or she thought she didn't. Her life has few shadows and a lot of light. Jason Todd has a past that he can't seem to recover from, while Hazel has a past that seems perfect. What happens when both of these are proved wrong? His life has a lot of shadows and few light. And what if the person who helps Hazel ends up being the person who is the most opposite from her? <~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~><~> Rankings: Jason Todd #4 Batfamily #1 Red hood #1 Nightwing #1 Robin #1 Red Robin #2 bruce wayne #1 batman #1 wally west #1 dick grayson #1 tim drake #3 original character #4
