Authors note:
In the middle of a challenging year and semester, I found it difficult to find something that felt consistently comforting and resonated with positivity more than anything else.
I drafted this story and its first few chapters at the beginning of 2022. Still, I'm glad I waited to publish it because within this year alone, I've learned and experienced a lot more, and as a result of that, the plot and characters changed quite a bit in my head, and I am in the middle of restructuring a few things.
Hence, I'm not quite sure how to describe this story just yet, and I'm sure ill change this in a little while, but for now, let's figure it out as I try to too.

Summer breaks are supposed to be fun, right? For Willow, an only child, spending the whole summer at her aunt's house was her favorite part of the year because, despite whatever life and times brought with them, this family knew they always had each other. For Felix, the youngest of two, life had always been consistent. Consistent in its hardships and happiness.
Following this pattern, the new year stayed consistent in its little highs and more significant lows; the one thing the two didn't expect to come across was each other.
As Dallas and Drayton navigate life in the spotlight, Spencer is navigating intense feelings for Nathan - her best friend's brother.
*****
Dallas and Drayton are planning their wedding, talking babies and learning how to navigate life in LA now that Drayton is a hotshot football player in the big leagues. Meanwhile, Spencer and Nathan are back at home in Colorado, coming to terms with their feelings for one another and learning how to co-parent with Grayson, the father of Spencer's daughter. Will the realities of adult life strengthen them - or will their relationships break?
