Amethyst Parker: a normal nineteen year old who has just finished her first year at university who has always wanted to meet her biological parents.

The battle of Camlann, proved to be King Arthurs final battle, and the end of Camelot. But, Arthur's child remained. Merlin remained to keep and eye on him as he grew up and had children and grandchildren of his own. He watched over the line until the year nineteen ninety-three. When Cecelia and her husband handed their baby daughter over to Merlin for her own safety, they had hoped that they might one day get to see her again. But Morgana had other plans.

Amethyst leaves a family tree plotting session at her local library listening to her friends discussing what they found out about their families, and soon finds herself embroiled in a once in a life time adventure, and the chance to find out about her own family history.
