Now Grian must live the rest of his life with Scar. After a prank gone wrong, Grian vows to protect Scar during his first life. But what happens when Grian does lose that life? Will he be able to ignore Scar or will he continue to protect his "friend"? TW At the end of the book. There will be suicide. This book also contains a lot of death. NOT EVERYTHING IN THIS BOOK IS ACCURATE! That being said, don't get upset cuz Pizza isn't in here. I forgot to add him and by the time I realized, I was already on chapter 4. Who knows, maybe book 2 with have him. You'll have to wait and find out ;)

Sam was gone, for good, Mumbo had killed him and he hadn't respawned. He was dead. Grian trusted in the kindness of the world and he opened up, but that was his biggest mistake. Because what if Sam wasn't dead? What if they had been tricked by a simple hack? What if Scar and Mumbo went missing? What if they were taken? Grian would have to find out the consequences of those 'what if's the hard way. A sequel to "Sam's Back", I suggest reading that first if you haven't already since otherwise this won't make sense. A YHS/Hermitcraft fanfic. Angsty. There's some mild Grumbo shipping but it could just be seen as platonic. Also Scar/Cub shipping, but only really at the very end and you can ignore it if you want. Trigger warnings: death loops, permadeath, Sam being Sam, manipulation, self hatred, torture, general angsty stuff. There's a happy ending though! Also, this is a continuation of my imaginative book covers and chapter titles! Word count: approx 14,700 words

That slowly changes when his beloved pesky bird seems to avoid him. Aka, Grian doesn't want to make the same mistakes, but does. And Scar tries to figure out why things have changed.
