Four young friends, James Dobois, William Chantrell, John Blandish, and Charles Abernathy, had grown up together in the small village of Willowdale. From a young age, they had been drawn to each other, bonded by a shared love of adventure and a fierce desire to protect those in need.

As they grew older, the four friends discovered that they possessed unique magical abilities. James was a powerful healer, able to mend even the most severe wounds with his gentle touch. William was a master of deception, able to cast illusions and disguise himself with ease. John was a wise and knowledgeable mentor, his vast knowledge of magic and history proving invaluable in their quests. And Charles was a skilled and honorable knight, wielding his sword with grace and courage.

Together, the four friends became known as the Four Protectors, dedicated to fighting against the Shadow Order and protecting the innocent from their tyranny.

Their first adventure began when they received a plea for help from a neighboring village, which had been attacked by a band of Shadow Order soldiers. Determined to save as many people as possible, the Four Protectors set out on their quest.
