Twenty-two year old Shay Evans is clumsy, a clown there to entertain people. She has been all her life. But living alone in a small studio apartment in New York can be quite lonely and being a graphic designer has its off sides.

As she walks back home from a hard day at work, she encounters a mysterious but handsome young man in her favorite café.

Ed Crawford is tall, sexy and used to be a total player. He has a secret dream which he knows will never come true and his family even has financial problems. Shay and Ed struggle against their attraction towards each other but can they manage to fight it for so long or will they finally give in?
