Nora's never had the best luck with a relationship whether it is romantic or with family. She's able to relax now that she's away from her family. She can finally start the life she has always wanted.
Owen has been able to be himself ever since he escaped his abusive father but now he wants to save his brother. Trying to juggle that problem and chasing Nora proves to be a hard task.
Nora pushes him away when they continue to get closer, afraid it'll hurt her in the end.

On the other side of the door, I meet Owen's eyes. His whole appearance seems tired.
"What are you doing here?" I shift between my feet.
"I haven't heard from you in a couple of days. I'm just checking up on you."
"That's very nice of you. I'm doing fine." I stare down at the floor, not wanting to meet his disappointing eyes.
He sighs, "Are you?"

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen.
