But what will happen when a new villain arises and threatens Hiccup and Kala's lives?

But when he couldn't kill the dragon he took the other option... and trained it. him and toothless were the best of friends but one day when he is chosen to kill the monstrous night mare in dragon training , he can't handle it so he runs away on the back of toothless, but only for the two to be snatched up by dragons. but 5 years later when hiccup returns to Berk, he is not the hiccup they all once knew.

Yes, it's another one of these but I really wanted to do another one and hopefully better than the other one. "What if we left for good?" "What do you mean?" Hiccup was planning to run away but now that Astrid knows his secret, he doesn't know what to do. Then Astrid comes up with a crazy idea that might just save them. They leave for good. Or that's what they thought. 7 years later, Hiccup and Toothless along with Astrid and Stormfly crash land on berk and chaos ensues and probably the greatest threat they would ever have to face. When things go sideways, when Toothless saves Hiccup, he has a choice, stay and try one last shot of convincing Berk, or flee with his best friend. He chooses the best option, he flees. Now, he is branded as a trator, a renegade. Stoick practically disowns him and he is never heard from again. five years later, Berk hears mighty tales of a grand hero who rides a night fury. Many call him 'Night Rider', 'Dragon Tamer', and 'Mysterious Rider'. Many doubted that this hero could be their traitorous ex heir to the Berkian leadership. After all, he was described as having a prosthetic leg, very tall, confident, and extremely buffed, while Hiccup was the opposite of all these descriptions.
