(I won't lie in saying I actually liked the first Suicide Squad movie. I liked the idea of picking people so unpredictable that they could potentially be a safeguard against another Kryptonian threat. However, I did feel like the writing choice to have a team of maniacs and mutants fight an alien god witch lady was a bad start to what could have been an intriguing arc of movies.

So I'm setting to rewrite the first movie, while meshing some aspects from the second movie directed by James Gunn. And throwing in a bit of my specialty with an altered version of Spider-Man and a meshed version of the DC and Marvel universes that'll give a form of character I feel will give the world of Suicide Squad was missing. So without further ado, let me introduce you all to my version of the Suicide Squad)

Belle Reve Federal Penitentiary, where the worst of the worst go that don't fit at Arkham Asylum. Meta-Enhanced individuals who willing and intentionally put their skills to malcontent. Or even just exceptionally extraordinary human beings who just can't be contained in conventional prisons anymore.

This place is where one Amanda Waller has set her eyes on, to try and give a little project of hers a test run. Task Force X, an ensemble of Maniacs, Murderers and Mercenaries that get sent on missions to potentially get time knocked off of their lengthy sentences. How will things play out for the Cadmus leader when she has to contend with clown girl psychiatrists, a mathematical genius sharpshooter and one teenager who seems to be able to match wits with her?

"Stop pretending to be an idiot, idiot." Ouch. It burns. "You're starting to sound like a dear old friend of mine," she adds, her tone implying that her "friend" isn't so much of a "friend" as a mortal enemy who she probably also dragged into an alley on multiple occasions. Because she must be a fan of alley-dragging. Theater major. "I bet that friend was super amazing," I retort anyway. "She'd have to be to put up with you." Oh! Snap! I grin like an idiot at my own joke, realize how uncool that is, and then quickly rearrange my face into a frown. "I'm sorry. I don't quite understand. You're supposed to be a superhero, so why are you threatening a fellow superhero? Isn't that kind of against our code or whatever?" "You don't have a code. Superheroes who follow codes don't drop off information about people's allegedly dead sons at their doorsteps and then run." Well, can't say she doesn't have a point there. -- After being framed for the horrific murder of Birchwood City's most revered superhero's six year-old son, Maya Waterman abandons her super-villain persona and finds herself lost without any sense of identity and purpose. Being hunted by a vengeful super is hard enough, but after her employer fires her and she's evicted from her apartment, Maya begins to become something she had prayed she would never become again- helpless. She needs nothing less than a miracle to save herself, and much to her surprise, she gets just that-- even if it entails her trying her hand at becoming a good guy for once.

Hotch this is a bad idea" Reid said following him through the prison. "It's the only option we have left, we both know this" the stern man spoke as they approached the door. "We can't just let her out and join the team- it took the FBI 2 years to track her down, what if she escapes? She's a murderer Hotch" Morgan spoke from the other side of him. "We always say that unsubs make the best profilers, she is proof of that" Hotch said as the doors slowly opened. "Hello again boys" Athena smiled from the other side of the metal desk she was chained to. Reid frowned as she winked at him. "Glad the black eye has healed; I was afraid I damaged your pretty little face forever" she said referring to the time they tried to catch her, and she beat Reid up pretty badly before escaping. Athena was the most dangerous type of unsub, she was smart and had all the skills to be a expect level profiler and she absolutely used that against the team when they were asked to track her down. A criminal minds fanfic, not based on any of the shows timeline but a mismatch of them to create its own. A psychopathic unsub is recruited to join the team after they finally caught her after 3 years of her taunting them, will she join the team? Or will the history, secrets she knows and flirtatious tension between her and her new teammates be to much for everyone to handle? Since this is a CM fanfic there will be dark themes, trigger warnings will be at the start of each chapter- enjoy :)

Morgan Stark, daughter of Tony Stark, or as everyone else in the world knows her as Morgan Sinclair. She attends Midtown with Perter Parker, Ned Leeds, and Michelle Jones. Taking after her dad with high intelligence, she starts developing her own super-suit, to help her friend Spider-Man. "Oh hey, Morgan, funny seeing you here. Best sandwiches, right? Can't beat 'em." I nod in pure panic. 'He knows you were following him, now he's going to think you're the obsessed one.' He waves and runs off again. I stand there processing what happened before realizing he was getting away. I then run after him. He nearly gets hit and then darts into an alley. He looks around but clearly doesn't take notice of me. After pulling off his shoes he takes out a red and blue mass from his backpack. It's hard to make out, but it's just as hard to mistake. It's the suit my dad made and I designed for his newest recruit. Spider-Man. After getting into the suit he webshoots his backpack to the dumpster. I turn to run away before he sees me very obviously stalking him." During a fight against some of the DC heroes' greatest villains, they all find themselves transported to a new reality. There are heroes (and villains) in this universe too, but some of their qualities seem awfully familiar. How will some members of the batfamily, justice league, and the DC villains react when they meet the Avengers, earth's mightiest heroes? Just a heads up ahead of time, some of these comparisons will be accurate to what COMIC book characters were based off who, but I won't be doing that for all of them necessarily if their characters are lesser known. Though most of the marvel characters are from the MCU, some of their characters were changed slightly for the big screen. So if their character was changed too much for them to relate to the DC equivalent, I'll probably write them with their comics backstory, appearance, etc. The first few chapters will explain the few differences though. I hope you guys enjoy, I've never written a cross over book before so I hope it's not bad. I do read a lot of comic books though and have seen all the movies so hopefully at least it shouldn't be a disaster. And also, forgive the crappy cover lol. If you have any thoughts on the book, I encourage you to comment. I like constructive criticism and I really like hearing your guys' opinions. It really means a lot to hear from you. So if you like it, comment and vote, and again I hope you guys enjoy! Also, congratulations to any person who actually read all this. I applaud you. 👏👏👏
