I had just finished cleaning Master Rouge's bedroom and was now moving onto his study, except he was residing in there.
I knocked regardless because I needed to get to the rest of the house and I had very specific ways of cleaning. Upstairs was always first.
"Come in." I heard him yell from inside.
"Sorry for interrupting, Master Rouge. I just needed to quickly and thoroughly dust and wipe down your desk, I will sweep once you leave." I stated.
"Always so cold, aren't you John?" He said mockingly.
What did he mean? I always spoke to him this way, he is my boss, my master.

He chuckled and then stood. He swiftly walked over to me and took the duster from my hand. "M-master Rouge?" I questioned. Did I make him upset?
"You are so intelligent John, but so incredibly innocent at the same time. Having no idea what you calling me Master means." He stated and then pushed me against the wall.

I turn my head to the side and brace myself for his contact, thinking he will surely hit me. I think I will have deserved it, obviously he feels like I have disrespected him.

I should have done better.
