People would always whisper about the great demon king as if he were legend, they whispered about his cruelty, his malice, about his scorn and lack of mercy. No one ever saw him in person, or those that did never left the dark castle that seemed to float above the misty mountains that sat in the north. Many adventurers had disappeared in search of the great demon king, sworn to end his tyranny after a millenia of being oppressed only to fail... and to later be found in pieces scattered about the land. Only fools found themselves even near the great king's castle... only fools like Serena would go trudging in a place she clearly did not belong...
