The number seven in the Bible represents completeness-physical and divine perfection, however if seven was associated with how many years a couple was married it was considered "the itch" a time where a couple steps back and re-evaluates their marriage and if it was worth holding onto.

Jrue and Jaxon Grier had successfully reached seven years of marriage and seven years of parenthood they had finally reached "the itch stage", a shocking confession from one of them threatens to destroy their union and break up their family.

Separation is agreed upon and the couple go about their daily lives separately while co-parenting, each enjoying a part of freedom from the other. Will Jaxon and Jrue work through the itch or will they agree to walk away from their marriage?
