Long before Clara Stahlbaum was born, Drosselmeyer had another goddaughter from the Silberhaus family. One eerie night, when she was very little she heard the chanting of mice. That was many Christmases ago and has completely forgotten about it. Now a beautiful young lady of age 17, who pitifully grew ill and weak in her legs. How she envies her female cousins, who dance elegantly every year at their Christmas party. She yearns for a suitor who will carefully guide her weak body. This year, however, the Mouse King has his sights on her . . .
A tale that resembles the classic yet with an alluring, dark twist.
