It's the year 1916, Cara Bole has just found her way to the West Front in France as a British Army nurse. She is young, has barely any medical experience, and yet she is determined to save lives. When she meets a man with piercing blue eyes and a few wounds too deep, she's forced to prove her worth. But perhaps saving the man's life isn't the only thing she can do for him.
