When the Mad Hatter, Jefferson if you want to be specific, returns to wonderland, he discovers that not all is what it seems. Wonderland is destroyed. The only creatures alive are Dori the Door Mouse and Cherry the Cheshire. The Mad Hatter must work with these two girls to fight off whatever and whomever is out there. Let's say this threat is threat is the second star to the right and straight on till morning.

There are a few things you need to know about Wonderland. First off, completely misnamed. It should be Terrorland. People don't just accidentally tumble into Wonderland, it sucks them in. There is no following of cute white rabbits with pocket watches. Wonderland is dangerous and you can lose a lot more than your head if you're not careful. Second, the Hearts are in control, but they shouldn't be. The throne of Wonderland rightfully belongs to the Spade heir. But he's currently missing. Third, and probably most important, is that Madison Hatter is NOT a native of Wonderland. He was yanked through a mirror many years ago and has been trying to survive Wonderland ever since. Now he has an idealistic young Real-Worlder on his hands and a rebellion in his heart. Mad is going to remove that Heart Queen if it's the last thing he does. She's the one who stole him from his life all those years ago and he's been waiting for the moment when he can tear her life to shreds in repayment.
