Probably the most memorable trip of my life wasn't with my family. It was with my friends and teachers (albeit they were sort of like a family in a few ways). In early 2016 I traveled to Fairview Lake in Northern New Jersey for three nights, making that four days away from home. It was mainly educational, but also about fun. It was the first time I went out on a three-night trip alone without my parents.
