Those were her last words that she wished out as she saw the final glimpse of her Sakha babu's retiring figure.
Perhaps the fate played it's game. Her wish was not destined to be fulfilled sooner, due to the enmity between the two villages.
But instead, it seems like her wish of seeing her Sakha Babu as soon as she becomes barrister was kept on waiting list. It didn't went unheard or unfulfilled.
But how?
London returned Gold medallist Barrister Bondita Das is all set to start up with her barristry career. But ofcourse being a female barrister that to in this patriarchal society, she will have to face certain obstacles.
Apart from that there's one more obstacle on the way of her dreams and career. Now that her Sakha Babu has claimed to left her hand, will she be able to overcome this all alone?
Will their relationship take a new turn? Will they ever be able to unite?
Will they both ever look forward to their relationship in a different perspective?

The story starts from the marriage day of Bondita with Chandrachur. But Bondita runs away from her marriage with the help of Anirudh to fulfill his dream to become a barrister. They were about to leave just then Thakuma caught them. She somehow goes to London and becomes a barrister. But unknown to her the enemity started between two villages. She decided to stay away from her family and the enemity and worked to find the cause of enemity and end it. However while collecting the evidences she falls in trouble. She was accused of being a spy of Krishnanagar. Her punishment was so severe that at one point she couldn't take it anymore Why was Bondita accused of being a spy? What was the punishment? Hello all, This story is a fanfiction based on the show Barrister Babu. Currently, the last track of this show is going on which focuses on Batuk Roy Chaudhary and his intense hatred for Bondita, while Aniruddh is missing. So, my story is about Batuk's psyche mainly. How he turned the way he did and how is he now going to revert...This is all my stort is about. Theres a lot of Spirituality, Sufism, and Mysticism in this story with a genuine tinge of Mystery and Drama. It is a little different from the type of stories I usually write. I really hope you all like it. Theres NO romance between Batuk and Bondita in my story. The only romance is between Bondita and Anirrudh, and that too comes in the end. Rest it is all about Batuk and Bondita's journey through hell to find the peace of their hearts eventually. I have used some religious references, but I have tried to keep it all extremely neutral. Set in pre independent Bengal , ANIDITA: A TALE OF ETERNAL LOVE is an imaginary story of two individuals, Anirudh Roy Chowdhury, a 20 year old London return Barrister, whose only aim is to improve the condition of women in his country , and Bondita Roy Chowdhury/ Bondita Das, a village girl, who has the courage to ask questions which even adults cannot imagine and don't have answers to. In an effort to save a 12 year old Bondita from becoming a Sati, Anirudh marries Bondita. As time passes, Anirudh and Bondita become really good friends. Soon Anirudh decides to send Bondita to school and hence, Bondita becomes the first girl in Tulsipur, her in laws' village, to ever go to school. Both husband and wife share one dream, that is, sending Bondita to London to secure a Barrister degree. With Anirudh's support and under his guidance, Bondita manages to excel in her studies and always stands first in her class in all the subjects. But soon there is a major change of events. The British GovernGovernment passes a law that Child Marriage is illegal and is a punishable offence. Due to his alliance with the Brahmo Samaj, the members urge him to set an example for the society by breaking off his marriage and giving Divorce to his wife. Even though both Bondita and Aniruddh are reluctant, they decide to do the unthinkable just to encourage and spread awareness in the society about how Child Marriage is wrong. They sign the Divorce papers thus leading to the annulment of their marriage. Both the Roy Chowdhury and the Das families are heartbroken and against their decision. But eventually both the families give in and accept the decision of their children. Even after being legally divorced, Aniruddh doesn't leave the side of Bondita and continues to be her mentor and friend. But she meant everything for him now. His best friend, student, teacher and most importantly his life. Same applies on her. Now anirudh is her mentor, guardian, best friend and her world. It's been 4 years they live together and they share the purest bond together. Anirudh want bondita to be the first lady barrister of Tulsipur. In that era when women were not even allowed to get educated, he sends her to the school every day. They fought alot for this achievement together. Both are against and resist Sati pratha,inequality based on caste and gender, menstrual taboos, child marriage and so many taboos which were common those days.
