A One Piece x Gender Neutral Reader! .・゜゜・・゜゜・.» ──────» ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐶ «────── « .・゜゜・・゜゜・. "Ugh I don't got time for this shit, if only Ace just grabbed Luffy and ran instead- bUT NO- HE HAD TO FUCKIN DIE." Fumbling around my jeans for the carabiner that held my Student ID, which was the key to my door, I was thinking about the frankly, quite amazing dream I had the night before. Don't ask me how but I managed to dream about Law and the Straw Hats. Stars appeared around my face as my eyes turned all dreamy. "Ah, to be so close to Law~ if only I could be dropped back there~" I finally slide my key card in my door, seeing the little green light flash at me five times to let me know that my card had been accepted. I opened my door and walked in, relishing the space I had been given, especially since I didn't have a roommate. Setting down my satchel that had all my supplies by my desk, I walked over to my bed and flopped down onto it and let out the most horrendous screeching noise I could into my soft pillow. "Ah, much better!" I said while lifting my head off the poor pillow, which looked slightly traumatized, "Welp, it's time for dinner now I guess, and by dinner I mean crackers or something because I don't feel like going to Commons." I stood up from my bed and stretched, expecting to feel the nice feeling of some of my sore spots cracking, but instead- "ACK- WHAT THE FUCK-" .・゜゜・・゜゜・.» ──────» ᘛ⁐̤ᕐᐶ «────── « .・゜゜・・゜゜・. There are descriptions of violence, abuse, trauma, and depression occasionally in this story, along with dark themes. I want to make those scenes as realistic as possible, so if any of the above triggers you, think of maybe reading another one of my One Piece stories. If not, then prepare for the long ass ride that is this book!
A supposed tyrant's daughter (ACOTAR) by inyourselves

I thought I had died on my way home from work and that the gods had blessed me with a loving father in the afterlife. I was ready to accept that where I now stood was simply an illusion-an afterlife crafted just for me. How could I have known that my soul had traveled to another world? A world inside a book. I must have sinned greatly for the gods to abandon me, leaving me in this hellish place where I have to fight for my life every single day. I have no cousins who see me as family, no mother I can depend on. My home is filled with two-faced faes, and to make matters worse, my father's favorite general has taken it upon herself to act as some kind of mother figure, filled with hatred. The woman whose body I now possess was supposed to be dead. My death should have been the breaking point for my loving father-the event that turned him into a cruel, evil villain for the protagonist to defeat over 100 years later. Now, I am trapped in the book series I had read only because my friend loved it. And I can barely recall key details because I never bothered to read it carefully. It was already a horrible story riddled with many plot holes. And being stuck in it? It's even worse-especially as someone who wasn't even mentioned in the book because she was supposed to die early on. ~.~ This is a transmigration ACOTAR story set before Amarantha was sent as an emissary to Prythian. While the war over slavery has already occurred, I've altered the timeline and some details about the war's history. I also dislike the trope of a "truly evil" villain whose sole purpose is to justify the plot of a war or the extension of a series. With this story, I want to give the villain a backstory-a name and depth-saving him from the same mediocre depiction of a tyrant.

I exhaled, shaking my head in disbelief. "Welcome, Mrs. Vedant." She raised a brow, smirking. "Are you ready to become my puppet, Mr. Vedant?" ________________________________________ Anaya had always been a dreamer, lost in fictional worlds. Books weren't just entertainment; they were her escape. Reality was dull, full of responsibilities she had ignored for years. She had lied to her parents-told them she was preparing for JEE, that she needed time away from school to study. They believed her. She made them believe her. When she decided not to give JEE, she came up with another excuse: "I've realized I don't want engineering. I'll do UPSC, so I'll take CUET instead." And they trusted her again. But she hadn't been studying. Time had slipped away in distractions-books, social media, and then, anime. Her brother had always told her to watch anime, but she never cared. Then, in 10th grade, she overheard a boy in her class talking about One Piece. His passion intrigued her, so she gave it a try. And just like that, she fell into another loop-binge-watching episodes for hours, days, weeks. Now, she had one month left for boards and two months for CUET. The weight of her wasted time pressed on her chest. How did I let this happen? She had no option but to fix everything. Vasant, on the other hand, was everything she wasn't. Strict, studious, disciplined. He followed a routine, stayed up late to study, and was determined to crack JEE. But inside, he was drowning. Some nights, he felt so overwhelmed he cried. Yet no one knew. To the world, he was just another hardworking student. He hated books but loved anime. He didn't know that a girl in his class had once listened to him and fallen in love with his favorite anime. He didn't know that their lives had unknowingly intertwined years ago. And they still didn't know each other. But fate wasn't done with them yet.

Through thick and thin the Law shall prevail. A new sense of purpose awaits us, children of light, in the land where it all began. The darkness in which we once cowered in fear, now curbed by the might of our endless light. Come, brothers, come, sisters. Let there be peace among the wicked, just as the Law dictates. Peace and certainty is all that you have ever longed for, little angel. A bright, stable future. A roof without holes above thy head. Acknowledgement and recognition of thy existence, feverish dreams of grandeur. Greed born from yearning, treacherous vines of rapacity taint your innocent soul. You seek a future that does not exist. Let thy fingers hold the fragile line between dream and nightmare. Let thy light navigate the path. Shall thee give in and falter, O' land of old, envelop his body in thy unending flame of chaos. Spit out nothing but an empty husk, the remnants of a smile once so bright. Shall thee prevail, O', Great Kazdel, I ask of you, the impossible - take mercy on the innocent. Don't let the radiance dim and don't let the mind turn bleak. Wake, young traveler. Bid thy farewells and burn thy bridges. It's time to say goodbye, curly head. Cross post from AO3. For a shorter and more on-point description, look no further! I had something silly written up before throwing it out in exchange for that wall of text upstairs. It's a little story "about a young, dumb sankta who's been dealt a bad hand at life, looking for his place in all this mess. The pointless search for a better future leads him far, far away from home, to a country forever ravaged by war and misery - Kazdel, the promised land where devils roam free and peace feels out of place." Anyway, it's quite lengthy, but hopefully enjoyable? Slide a comment if you want, I'll give you a tiny kiss on the forehead. Man, do I love comments. (Lastly, to point out, English is not my native language, but I don't think it'll be much of an issue ;3)

Could it be something as simple as fate forcing us down whatever predetermined path was set upon our birth? No one can really say for sure what drives our lives in the direction they end up going. Sometimes we wake ourselves up to realize this isn't who I wanted to be and drown ourselves in delusions, convinced its unchangeable, or they are not willing to put the effort in to try to change their life because it may be to hard or painful. Others don't care content with the life they have and just float through life trying to not get caught up in everything. There are also those that blame fate or a higher existence then them for their problems and mistakes never truly taking accountability. This is the stories of several young adults, who by some interesting and what could be seen as cruel or traumatic events come together to fight fate and grow into the people they wish to become. Each has a past that was unfair, cruel, demeaning, or tragic. The defining trait they all share though, they may not realize it themselves is despite it all, they haven't given in. Strands of your mind cling together like web to a slippery leaf bathed in the morning dew. You have seen both heaven and hell, witnessed the atrocities of war firsthand, and imagined a better life in the deepest, most intimate corners of your dreaming spirit. The wishes for peace and certainty you have once so desperately longed for, now lay trampled underneath the might of your mind's vivid horrors. What was once so bright and lively, now cowers in fear, clinging to gone memories like a shipwreck survivor to some lowly piece of driftwood. From the depths of hell, you arrived victorious, grasping the laurel wreath high above your head. Unrecognizable, with your empty eyes telling a story of innocence brutally taken away from the child curling in shame in the depths of your empty soul. Almost green you are, curly head, having grown up with a rifle by your bedside table, never knowing peace and quiet. Out of the pan that was the Kazdel Civil War and into the scorching flames of Lungmen, where life flows by on its own accord, here, you must learn to live once more. So put on your best facade, Let the reuniting trumpets ring a wild, And allow the city to swallow you whole. Here we are, a continuation of my previous work "Goodbye Curly Head", which sprawled into quite the epistle (but it wasn't really a letter, it's just long :P). Summarized in the most basic way possible, it's a story about a twenty-year-old Kazdel Civil War veteran who goes to Lungmen and has some troubles acclimating to the steady life presented before him. Sprinkle in a too-good-to-be-true offer and a freshly established logistics company, and you get Andy trying to make it big for as long as his deteriorating mental state lets him. I'd say it works as a standalone story for anyone who doesn't want to bother reading the first part. For now, at least. As always, please, pwwease leave a comment, positive, negative, I LOOOVE reading and replying to comments!!

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

'Gotham.....I'm in Gotham.......I'M IN GOTHAM' Yes, yes you were 'What, what the actual hell is happening, is this a dream? Am I de'- You looked over towards the alley you just emerged from 'No....no no no no no no no' You slowly made your way deeper into it 'Please, for the love of whatever deity exists here please don't be him' You found the body 'Please be a copycat, don't be the real.....don't be...' You slowly turned over the body of the man that attacked you, the man you killed "Oh..... Oh no" The face paint gave him away, as you looked into the now dead eyes of the man. That classic maniacal grin spread across his features even in death. You just killed the Joker. Now with almost every hero and villain you know gunning for you, either for their form of "protection" or to just kill you, only one thought crossed your mind. "Well Fu"- *Currently being re-edited since the beginning of this book has some spelling mistakes I have over 1k reads, am I famous now? Can I like, be a jerk and get away with it? Look at all these PEASANTS, THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW A KING IS AMONG THEM-...I need some time to calm down this happy feeling in my chest. Btw, I don't own any art in the story. If the owner of any pictures in this story want me to, I will take those pictures out and replace them. Thank you. It's my first story as well so it probably won't be that good compared to other stories like this, but I hope you enjoy. My goal is at least 69k words, I'm such a maniac.
